Deflector hood DHM
Deflector hoods are used as exhaust air hoods.
The hood ejects the air into the atmosphere with an upward jet, so that the exhaust air near the hood does not mix with the ambient air.
The hood design prevents the ingress of rainwater and contaminants. The water collected by the inner cone is discharged through a lateral
drainage pipe. The air outlet is protected by a
protective grille.
The hood is made of galvanized steel as standard,
but can also be made of stainless steel or other metallic
materials commonly used in the construction industry, as well as with RAL color coating.
can be supplied.
DHM:
Assembly by means of a push-over sleeve.
DHF:
Design with flange and counter flange according to factory standard.
Note:
When the exhaust air system is not in operation, moisture, snow or dust can
or dust can get into the pipe system. This can lead to water
accumulation. Therefore, a condensate drain should be provided below the hood. To achieve sufficient throw, flow velocities of 6-8 m/s are recommended. Higher flow velocities require a structural modification of the deflector hood.
