Jürgen Zahn was determined: There would be no compromises when it came to quality. With this decision the founder of Rokaflex laid the fundament of the long-term success of our concern. Under the name Rokaflex H. Zahn only high-quality flexible- silencers and aluminum ducts would be produced. From the very beginning they fulfill the highest manufacturing quality standards. Word gets round. Following the first sales successes the company expanded step by step and operates since 2000 under the name Rokaflex GmbH. At the same the product portfolio was broadened to include articles for shipbuilding, flexible ducts and individual customized solutions.
The company moved to its new site in Braak in 2002, on the border to Hamburg. This increased the production- and storage areas considerably. The manufacture of spiral ducts was already started at the old site in Hamburg. Unprecedented growth of Rokaflex began the current managing director, Oscar McAven, joined the company the following year. New production- and delivery sites were opened in Wuppertal and Nürnberg in 2005 and 2007. This ensured Rokaflex the capability of flexible and reliable supply to customers all over Germany.
The first move abroad was made in 2009. The partnership with AIR2TRUST, a Danish specialist company for round and rectangular ventilation systems, Rokaflex expanded into the Scandinavian region. In 2012 Rokaflex acquired its former supplier, the company Hesmer, and thereby the robot-controlled manufacture of silencer caps and other articles. Rokaflex grew further with the acquisition of the Polish company PKM in 2016 and with a new production- and storage centre in Gubin in 2017.
